Yesterday was nuts! Was at work until 4. Went downtown and met up with Marc and Kristan. Marc was a dollarama virgin, so Kristan and I popped that cherry.
Then it was board of advisor meeting, dinner with the exec and carol at the Sherlock Holmes Pub and THEN dessert with Meena and Aruna.
M & A are only in town for a little while and are busy with friend's wedding too, so time is even more limited. Dessert was so much fun. We were craving the white chocolate brownie at Moxies. So we drive down Calgary Trail, sat at a table on the patio at moxies and order 2 white chocolate brownies. Here's what happened:
*Waitress makes a face*
Aruna: What's that face
Waitress: "We are all out of the brownie for tonight"
Aruna: "What! We need to leave right now"
Sure enough we left, went to Joey's in South Edmonton Common, ordered chocolate lava cakes and downed them before the waitress put the plate down. Ok maybe not that fast..But they were SO good. I need to find out how to make them. And if you haven't tried them yet.. Well then I guess you just haven't lived!
