Last weekend was the Calgary Stampede. Roxanne and I road tripped down signing along to her iPod the whole time. it was glorious.

Laura was an amazing host, letting us stay and use her beautiful house! Friday, we went to the rodeo. I had never been before - it was defintely an experience! We say bull riding, horse riding, barrel racing, wild pony racing - it was cool! I dont think i will become an avid rodeo fan, but it was something new and cool to see. Its a very small world because Nicole and Lindsey from Saskatoon were in the seats right next to us! We wandered around the stampede grounds, got some food and saw some animals (buffalos, chicks, pigs and cows! MMOOO)


Friday the 13th was also Roxanne's birthday, so we invited people over to Laura's and made lots of margaritas. It was a good night!


Saturday was the infamous 2 hour pubcrawl. We all piled into a bus and went to 5 bars around the city for many an hour. We bailed early (around 830) and went back to Laura's for some RnR and chillin. It was nice to get out of the heat, the sweaty people and the stink.


Sunday was the bbq. It was nice and toasty outside, so we ran through some sprinklers and were soaking wet for a while. It was good to see everyone in Calgary before we left back to Edmonton. I know this update was lacking, but it was over a week ago! so happy you got anything at all :)
