Reading week = Calgary vacation = Birthday week = turnover weekend

Being able to escape to Calgary was amazing. Granted we didn't do too much, it was amazing to just do what i wanted and not go by anyone else's schedule, acting spontaneously (well sort of) and hanging out with friends i hadn't seen in a while.

We ate sushi, went shopping, went to the movies, went to lazer tag, to the bar, saw the U of C campus, slept A LOT. it was glorious.
Thanks to Alan and his family for being amazing hosts! they were awesome and fantabulous!!!!

But before ALL of that, Roxanne and I spent 3 hours in the car, singing along to her iPod, at full volume with dance moves and all.

For my birthday, we went to coyotes - where it was ladies night. There were many $2 highballs. Henry and Sam tried to sick a male stripper on me..but don't worry, i RAN to the other side of the bar for fear of ugly, muscle brained stripper that wasn't even hot!

Turnover weekend was the next item on the docket. It was a really good weekend to gain some closure to the exec term with my AIESEC peoples. We got to initiate the new team as well - that was just pure comedy. oh! on the way to the cabin, Roxanne missed the turn to the cabin, so she decided to pull a u-turn. what she didn't know was that the road was too narrow. that's right folks, we were in the ditch! and instead of jumping out of the car and screaming and cursing, we jumped out of the car and danced and sang along to "bye bye bye" by NSYNC cuz it was the next song on the iPod. but we have some good karma because a guy in a truck came and pulled us out. bless his heart!

a year as an exec term has finally come to an end. its bittersweet. i guess we shall just see what happens from here on!

other highlights? we smashed our busted ass printer/scanner/fax machine with a baseball bad, went crazy carpeting and had a goodbye session with many tears and laughs.

i know this blog post leaves something to be desired but school has drained all of my coherent thought processes.

hahaha, I love how you emphasized yourself running away from the male stripper!

Glad that you had a fun time in Calgary. We're having another Stampede roundup this summer. Hope you Edmonton folks can come!!
