BBQ & Ultimate Fighting mixed in with some elementary school reunions

Friday was Mark's 19th birthday. first we hit up the Korean BBQ. it's set up buffet style so you go and grab your raw meat and then cook it yourselves. yes yes.. i know paying $30 to cook your own food..sounds crazy. well it is! me and every other brown person at the table could not understand this. but have decided is the SMARTEST business plan ever! no need for cooks just need dish washers (oh wait..can use a machine) and raw meat. can you say low labour costs and high profit?!


We went back to Mark's place and the boys decided to be boys and have a bit of a fighting match. Look at the picture..got a little out of hand. but was a very good fight! Charu proceeded to then kick my ass at virtual boxing on the Wii. but i swear! its because i wasn't in front of the sensor. that or I'm a sore loser. yes, i think it is the second one too!


Other highlights included Howard dunking Mark's face into the birthday cake. The cake itself was a highlight. It read, "Happy birthday to me. i have no friend. :) Mark"


It was also a mini reunion for the George H luck people. Sophia, Amy, Ayan, Marco, Mark, Jerry and I were all in the same grade 6 class. So it was good to see everyone.


This party was great - had good times, caught up with people and reassured me that i still have friends and a life outside of aiesec - something that i needed, especially now that the aiesec career is winding down for the time being.
